Good morning, everyone! Today is a workshop day. This means that you will be allowed time in class to work on the variety of assignments that you have on your plate for this course. You have your website creation and first Discovery Blog. You might also need to update your Google folders. In addition, you will begin working on your first Google Doc Dialogue. Things are happening!

Reminders
Today
Morning Cup of No (10 minutes)
As a reader/writer, identify one of your biggest pet peeves about reading/writing. This could be something you do in your own work, that you find yourself constantly critiquing. This could be something that other authors do that you hate to see in booksor film or music. What is something that really, really grinds your gears?
Please submit your writing to BB.
Google Doc Dialogues (GDD)
The description for this assignment is available on BB. Please read it carefully.
The idea is simple, but the execution of the idea will take some negotiating between you and your group members.
What questions do you have about this assignment?
Workshop time!
I recommend starting by creating and sharing your first GDD document with your newly formed group. Now might also be the time to share contact information.
As usual, if you are doing any lengthy writing in my class, you can always plug in and listen to music.
Homework
I would like to see your progress on the GDD, so go ahead and submit your group's link as soon as you have it organized.
Discovery Blog #1 is due on Sunday.
